Your sessions will be tailored to your needs using an intuitive, holistic approach to therapy by focusing on mind, body, and spirit. Depending on your needs we will blend cultural knowledge with Art Therapy, mindfulness, breath work, yoga, and spirituality. Mindfulness is the development of intentional, compassionate focus of attention on the experience of the present moment. Using imagery and guided meditation, cultivate self-compassion and acceptance for a centered, purposeful approach to life.

Interpersonal Neurobiology is an interdisciplinary framework that incorporates scientific disciplines to demonstrate how the mind, brain, and relationships integrate. Genetic variables and social experiences, including engagement, connection, and communication, influence brain structures and psychological functioning that shape our nervous system and perception of reality. Breath work focuses on using the breath like a bridge between the body and the mind. The breath is the life force that connects our mind, body, and spirit together, allowing us to gain mastery over our thoughts, emotions, and our physiological responses to stress.

Yoga is a mind-body practice that focuses on your physical, emotional and mental health. The practice helps you relax, relieve stress, and manage underlying conditions or symptoms. It can involve gentle movement that helps to stretch, strengthen, and balance the mind, nervous system, and spirit energy and is suitable for all with no experience necessary. Spirit

Transpersonal Therapy is a spiritual approach to therapy that creates Sacred Space for awareness of subconscious material and experience of mystical healing. It is a form of Depth Psychology that seeks to integrate the spiritual and transcendent aspects of the human experience. This approach serves to incorporate ancestral knowledge, neuroscience, and contemporary psychology to reclaim ancient wisdom in new ways.

 
 

Culture

Family Systems Therapy acknowledges that we do not exist in isolation. Our sense of self and interactions with others are shaped and effected by what we learn from our family and community. Creative sessions are designed to guide you through the journey from a non-linear, non-mental space, connecting with your deep heart. Through creative expression you will see your heart’s love messages to you.


Location and investment

all appointments are currently via video through a secure, encrypted platform.

I want to work for you, not an insurance company. A pay-as-you’re-able-to approach is used to support individual needs and situations. Those who can offer more, help support those who can’t. The standard session investment is $210 for a 50 min appointment. I offer superbills for PPO insurance plans. (Please contact me to discuss your needs and further details.) Lectures, workshops, and consultation can be scheduled by appointment.

Limited appointments are available at Golden Folk Wellness, a unique community healing space in the heart of Highland Park, Los Angeles. Golden Folk is dedicated to holistic approaches for an optimal state of health & well being.  Services include acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage, energy healing, and more. This community space is intentionally curated with many opportunities to support you in your personal healing, ongoing growth, balance, and overall wellness.
